Did you remember when last you read or heard those words? Letโs imagine you telling those words to a child. What will follow is a wide grin, and you instantly knew you were in for a bouquet of requests or questions that will either drain your pocket or exhaust your patience and knowledge. But it is great to have that power to make somebody feel you are invincible. Isnโt it? Something like a magician that knows all the tricks in the air. Or a djinn that can say โShazamโ to every wish!
Ask Anything is what the Google homepage on my mobile serves me every time I go there for enquiries. Can you relate now? Or you hardly notice- being the type that just goes straight to the business. The first time, it hit me, I felt โWhat arrogance!โ then, I smiled. It was humbling that I thirsted for knowledge and had to drink from the well of Google who is behaving like some โDorobucciโ to a lady in the club. You know that street mentality, โCome to Zaddyโ.
Ask Anything serves adequately the purpose of a call to action which is to tell the prospective customer about a product and in the case of Googleโs search engine, it is so fitting. It identifies Google as a competent search engine that will provide you with any information on the internet. Reciting the two words Ask Anything I realised that is what professionals at the top of their game do all the time. They go with the swagger and mentality that they are finishing the job. The way a David Beckham sets the ball for a freekick. A Mike Tyson sending a right hook that floors an opponent flat on the canvas. A Kamaru Usman calculatedly striking deadly blows. Even, a chef who knows their onions and slices two big bulbs in a pot of jollof rice. I have since calmed down and stop getting mad at Google for โcarrying shoulder upโ. I choose to see the confidence, mastery and excellence, and interestingly, the inspiration to raise my game to a level of mastery that will make me boldly tell someone to Ask ME Anything.
